Due to labor-intensive eradicating actions towards American Black Cherry defined as 'Invasive Alien Specie'– cutting it down, pulling it out or treating its stumps and leaves with glyphosate – it is easy to find distorted the black cherry in Dutch forests.
A series of photographs documents landscapes created by a tension between the Black Cherry’s vigorous vitality and the controlling attempts by humans.
